Dirty Hit

This exclusive 3 track 12" edition was captured direct to lacquer at Metropolis Studios on 14th September 2024. Recording "live to vinyl" is how artists originally recorded music for public consumption, but today, it's a rare and pressurised way to work leaving no margin for error. An analogue feed is sent from the desk in Studio A up to Stuart Hawkes in Mastering who cut the lacquer in real time on one of the studio's old vinyl lathes. As you'll hear on the record, this honest approach to recording documents an unforgettable physical Pale Waves moment in time.
